It was a beautiful spring day.  We couldn't believe that in just a few minutes we would be painting with the great Claude Monet.  As we looked out onto the lake we could see his 'studio boat' rising and falling gently on the water.  The cerulean blue sky with it's cotton candy clouds peeking thru the trees already looked like a Monet painting. 'Today we are going to paint the effect of light' said Mr. Monet.  'We are also going to apply color straight from the tube and mix our color right on the canvas.  But before we start painting are there any questions?' he said.  'Yes I have a question Mr. Monet' I said as everyone turned to see who was speaking.  'What are we having for lunch?'
