Well, it has been awhile since I have painted a ballerina. When I looked at this beautiful painting in progress by James Tennison I couldn't help but to give it a go. Spring is a time when I usually pick a 'concentration' - a particular subject to work on. Will it be the ballerina or some other figurative study? The artist Lee of 'Defining Me' is trying so many new things. She's tickling my mind to paint still life. Yesterday I caught myself looking at one of my favorite things - the green bell pepper.
She perfect and stunning from her pretty ballerina head to her ballerina toes. I hope you do lots and lots of dancers. I love your dancers. But no pressure. If you want to paint peppers, I'll still cheer you on.
Your paintings of a Ballerina are awesome...I've never tried to paint one as doing figures isn't what I do best...must give it a try tho! Actually I am enjoying visitng your blog which I found while visiting my sister, Mary Freeman's blog. She's a very talented artist being used by God in so many ways!!! Happy to be following you now!!!
