'ocean scene and tangerine dreams' by myra anderson . . .

I do so love the comments that I have received over the last few posts.  Such wonderful incite into the mind of the modern day artist!  My sister said that if she could meet An artist of the past - it would be the sculptor Michelangelo.  Fascinating!

If there WAS a time machine - and you could travel back in time for one week to visit an aRtist in their century - who would it be?

Also, if you could travel with another person to observe THEIR conversation - who would it be?  I would travel back in time with my sister in order to observe her interaction with Michelabeloe (typo)  - then I would be like 'hey mickey! micks!  the mickster! how you doin'? can you show me how to sculpT a ballerina?'  HAPPY PAINT PARTY FRIDAY!!!

Your colorful painting is delightful with such vivid hues. I would travel back to visit Leonardo. He was such a genius as well as a painter.

Love the outfit you've given your central figure! Such a great decision to pair those colors with that lovely tangerine sea, too!

I would go back and visit Klimt. Or Goya. I might have to flip a coin to decide!

Wow! What a mixture of colors. Not a lot of artits would dare such extremes and succeed so well in the process. Great job Myra! I see myself walking hand in hand with Monet in his garden.

How soon will this time machine of yours be ready? My bags are almost packed. I'm ready to visit Édouard Manet, Claude Monet, and Vincent van Gogh..any of the old masters. And, the not so old, like Ray Johnson, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat..my list is endless.

Great sense of colour and enjoyed my visit... I would travel back to meet Modigliani I think...or maybe Matisse... I love both of them...xx

That is a hard question! I might have to agree that Leonardo would be a fantastic pick. I love this green and yellow dress, so vibrant!

Picasso - Gauguin - or like minded explorers with paint.
Love the strong design, skill, individuality and vibrancy of your work,
Myra. You are amazing.

Hi Myra,
Love the vibrant colours in your art and you have such mastery and skill in unifying them in your paintings….lovely work!
I would love to travel back in time to visit with oh so many characters that have shaped my world but for starters I would have to say Van Gogh.

Beautiful Myra. And such a tough question. I think I could travel with dozens of people from our blog world (you would be one of those people) and I suppose Klimt would be a favorite.

I'm between 2. Matissa and georgia O'Keeffe. I have a feeling Ms. O'Keeffe might be a bit hard to deal with, but I don't know why. I do LOVE your painting-so fresh and fun and summery.
