myra anderson - purple rain . . .

As I mentioned in a previous post, I was having trouble with drawing features so I took a break in order to do a few featureless paintings.  Suddenly I had to stop everything and go to the emergency room (I called JM just in case you wouldn't hear from me for a while).  They asked me what the problem was and I told them that I was having trouble with features.  No - they said - what is your MEDICAL emergency.  Anyway, after what is it called?  A 'cat scan' of the brain they said that they didn't see ANYTHING up there - as a lot of people have suspected.  So basically I came home with no doubt a five hundred dollar ASPIRIN!

Anyhoo, I feel 50 percent better today and I'm back to working on my features!

This is nice Myra. Love the big hands with the small face.
I hope you get to 100% very soon. Chicken and mashed potatoes mmm. Is it dinner time?

Before I go, the little square or rectangle shape off the umbrella, reminds me of my friend Martha V. She had on a scarf yesterday that still has the tag on it. She's had the scarf since last April. A friend of hers brought it back from Ireland as a gift. I called Martha "Minnie Pearl", but when she explained, it made sense to me. She saving a bit of the Ireland memory.

I adore this piece. The colors and design are just right.Sorry, my friend, to hear of your little trip to the Cat Scan department. At least you now know that nothing is wrong in that area.
Stay well.
