myra don't mangle the matisse!
I have long loved this line drawing by Matisse. I thought that I would have an adventure in my book and see what she would look like with some paint on. In MY version she was supposed to be resting on top of a piano! Uhhhh . . . next time?

This is a great interpretation Myra! I teach a painting class and my latest project for them is re-interpreting another artist's work...hope you don't mind if I show them this piece for inspiration!
