myra anderson - cupcake girl . . .
I'll tell you a funny thing about my abstracts . . . I DIDN'T LIKE THEM! I may show you one of these little horrors one day. In the meantime I found a nifty (that sounds like a word Janettmarie would use) anyway I found a nifty way to use these wayward abstracts. I can cut them up as colorful collage papers like I did with that little piece up there in the corner. After that major surgery up there - I needed a butterscotch infused triple chocolate raspberry cupcake!

I really like the way you do portraits. Unfussy and full of character! I also like the patterning snuck in amongst the paint. I may need to try paint and pattern in the same painting and stop before I collage over all the paint!
I love the color of the face, the big eyes (you do eyes so well) and the bright colors. The collage papers looks great where you put them too. How was the cake?
