Well kittens . . . sometimes . . . when you have an economic downturn - where half of your income is gone - with no hope of recovery in the foreseeable future - there is only one thing that you can do. Pack up your junk and go . . . to a cheaper place. So, that's the position we are in right now. The artist JanettMarie was encouraging in that she does not allow pity parties - not on her watch! When I lamented that I no longer had the money to lavish myself with fabulous art supplies for new-found adventures - she told me 'use what you already have!' Good advice seeing that I have a couple of boxes FULL of art supplies! Thank you JanettMarie. (I'm lying about the number of boxes I actually have!)
Actually, we have a cute little place in mind - and if all goes well - I can't wait to move there - in a couple of months. Looking for a suitable place is a full time job - but I can relax a little now - I think! Actually the name of this illustration is 'who will cook the black-eyed peas 'cause I look way too fabulous in this dress!' (see previous posts)

Oh MY! Life can throw a curve ball and turn our lives upside down. I have been there and understand totally what is ahead. Your attitude is just the right one and you can count on me to help with a supply or two down the road. My life need your art.

I love the painting, and smaller is better, more to clean if its bigger, I want to go smaller, life is not about cleaning its about art thats what I tell my hubby

I wondered what happened to you and came by to see if you've posted. I just hate it when trying times hit for those I care about. I hope you will LOVE your new place. One thing I've learned in my ? years of living...there is always nice weather behind the storm.
