my illustrated life 'the flower girl of corot' by myra anderson . . .

My little mini-cupcakes - thank you for your encouraging comments on my last post!  So, I saw this oil painting by the artist Corot and I wanted to 'illustrate' his painting by drawing a girl holding flowers.  It was such a delightful way to draw - and it was wonderful to be encouraged by the artists of the present  - and to feel a connection with an artist of the past.

PS: I kind of feel like the Corot girl in his painting, ready to fall asleep!
I like yours better she has some life in her.
