'the fox and the hound' by myra anderson...

This past week I wanted to improve my ability to sketch dogs. So I worked on different breeds of dogs from the rottweiler to the standard poodle.  My dog 'du jour' would be to draw an afghan (with all that beautiful hair) that actually looks like an afghan lol!
"First master what you CAN do-
then work at what you CAN'T do-
 until you do it well!'
I call this series of drawings 'the fox and the hound' for tongue in cheek reasons! As an artist I want to be 'clever like a fox' in order to improve my drawing skills and 'persistent as a hound' in order to create a wonderful work of  art. What does that mean? We will see!
This beautiful work by the artist IBE ANANABA reminds us of why we do what we do and encourages us to do it even more!

Art is like soup...there are a lot of delicious things in there and it's good for you too!

Wow! You've mastered it, I think--your drawings which include dogs are elegantly stunning. I love your featured artist and the picture of your soup made my mouth water. :D Happy Paint Party Friday!
