'in Julie's closet' by myra anderson painter of the fashion sketch...
oh yea! I think Julie has clothes like these in her closet! Well, project runway got off to a fabulous start I think. I saw some beautiful garments that I would like to sketch and paint! What a fun way to improve my technical skills! I've got a week to practice some of these looks! I would like to draw some things that I have never drawn before (like pants - never drew pants!) ...and try painting some patterns and textures (Lee is the master of patterns and textures and so is Lisa). In the meantime...what does Lisa have in her closet? We'll see...

Bonsoir chère amie,
Une peinture sublime... et quelle superbe panoplie !
Des couleurs vivifiantes qui me parlent. J'aime la construction et l'harmonie de cette peinture. Bravo l'artiste.
Gros bisous
This Julie used to have dressy clothes in her closet...until she retired!
I am going to print this fabulous painting out and pin it up in her closet.
It's so nice to see you blogging again, Myra. You quit blogging, and I quit FB, so I haven't seen you in forever. This is a lovely painting. It seems your hiatus has worked out to your advantage. You're back, better than ever!! :))))
These colors are so beautiful! I love anything with figures. Thanks for sharing your fashion sense!
I am excited you are back and illustrating your incredible fashion girls! Your drawing skill is THE BOMB...that means it's really really good in case you didn't know.
Julie's closet rocks, but I'm not sure we are talking about the same Julie. I've seen Julie's closet before. She wears scrubs to teach in. Lisa has a lot of cardigan sweaters in her closet because she is a total bore. :)
xoxo
what an amazing ball dress! I love how you've painted the splayed skirt at the bottom, even going with your brush strokes across the skirt, not just up and down... that's amazing!
