'still breathing - that's my story and I'm sticking to it' and ballerina sketch by myra anderson . . .

Thank you for all of the comments that I have received on every post of  this blog you beautiful people you!  Maybe you can tell - I'm mad but I'm not THAT mad at the person mentioned in the post below.  I feel for us all - and the artist that I truly feel for is the one whose work is stolen and sold for profit by others without them buying the person a hamburger and a cup of coffee or nuthin'!

Why do I say that I'm not that mad?  Well lately as per usual I was having an internal micro-mini crises about my art.  On the same day as 'person' someone else wrote something about me on the web that answered my internal question.  They called me THE PAINTER OF THE BALLERINA SKETCH.  This may seem silly to you - I don't know - but it answered my internal question.  Yes!  That's who I am and what I do!  Thanks for putting two and two together for me!  (can I buy you a hamburger and a cup of coffee?) Here is the latest ballerina sketch that I have been working on - I'll finish it later! Toodles for now! Signed Myra the painter of the ballerina sketch!

to see your art on tumblr must have been quite the heart beating adventure, did you go to her website and talk to her. Your style I to would know anywhere, I don't understand people who feel its ok to use art like its there own, its not okay

If you use Photoshop, Myra, it's easy to make a brush with your name on it. I can help you, if you don't know how. I stamp every photo (that looks like it could be stolen) with my full name, so if someone does steal it, they have to work for it. It's possible to erase my name, of course, but they'll have to work for it. Usually people who are stealing like that don't know anything about Photoshop, so they'll leave images with names on them alone. Just an idea, for the future.

If she's hot linking, take the photo down, and replace it with a snarky one - using the exact same photo title..she'll quickly find someone else's photo to steal. :) I've seen people write "this person is hot linking and stealing my photo" type of message. No one wants that as a banner.
