Yes, in between the graphite drawings I believe that everyone would like to see some color somewhere - sometime! It just occurred to me that if I want to get better at painting with watercolor - I need to paint more! In this painting - again I did not draw the figure first. I painted it with watercolor and then drew the few lines that you see. As I paint more PLEASE be prepared for a thousand WOMEN FROM THE BACK!
Speaking of from the back, I generally just do one figure as you know. How in the world could I do 'a gaggle' of people like this? This artist (from Igor and Andre) is giving a class. I just might take it.
PS Lisa I'm missing your art!

Wish my back looked as good as hers.
Looking forward to seeing lots more.
I would take the workshop too...it's a great drawing.
LOVE the pink skirt with the white top!! I honestly didn't know that you don't paint a lot. You draw more than paint? I didn't notice! Now I feel dumb. lol
Feel free to paint whatever you like..women from the back, front or side. It's your call..your blog..your time involved. :) I'll still visit no matter what.
omgosh..I saw that class earlier today, and posted it on FB. Only $25??!!
that is amazing that you paint the color first and then the figure, I am going to give that a try, and I love igor painting, I am off to check him out
