Well my precious peanuts . . . I am finally posting a drawing from my new studio. This is about the fourth drawing that I have done for my series of 'women from the back'. I'm thinking about joining the Leslie S. September challenge to do 30 pieces of art in 30 days. At the end of the series I should have backs, necks, arms and buns (hair buns) mastered - don't you think? After I scanned this drawing I see that I forgot to date and sign it. Oh - I'll do it tomorrow!

The Pino got me off track for a while. I enjoyed it and yes- he started in the middle...but did he have light marks already on his canvas? I always loved the colors he got in his skin tones. Lots of warms and cools.

I've been thinking of joining in, too. There's also 29 Faces going on for the month of September. hm..hard to choose which one I want to do. Maybe both? Maybe none? lol
