'unfinished figurative watercolor study', Barbara Roth and 'it takes a village' by myra anderson . . .

This is a watercolor painting practice because I WILL paint garments one day!  I say that 'it takes a village' because I would not progress in art if it were not for today's artists.  One such artist is Barbara Roth . . .
Barbara Roth paints . . .

Barbara Roth is a watercolorist and so much more!  Her photos of luscious watercolors, her painting tips and instructions, her journeys  in the 'land of degas'  - Paris, France and her beautiful paintings have all combined to encourage me to form what I will call 'my watercolor summer'.  Lisa G. gave me the gift of mixed media.  Janettmarie gave me the gift of color and Barbara has given me the passion to conquer water and color.  I usually have a summer project and this summer I will . . . (more later)
Barbara Roth paintings . . .

Thank you Barbra Roth!

it takes a village, yes, but your own distinctive voice shines through each time I visit your amazing blog. Your work is of such a high, creative caliber that I look to you in awe.
