watercolor practice - this is NOT a chair . . .

If you recall this is my summer for drawing and painting chairs -- my 'chair-cation'.  I have to admit that this was one of my more successful ventures - I am pleased with some of the chair artwork that I have produced.  They were all very difficult and complex chairs.  That being said, there is plenty of summer to go and yet you can see the end of summer on the horizon.  With that being said I thought that I would like to venture into the drawing of other very complex furniture.  I don't know what that is in this painting but I am sure that it is a small liquor cabinet.

Also, someone, somewhere took this cute photo of a bunny.  I'm scared of bunnies.  Also, whenever the artist Debbie Miller paints a cupcake she makes ME want to paint a cupcake!  This is a cupcake painting that I have long admired by the artist Jill Banks.

Finally, never boast!  The other day I boasted to my niece that this is the first apartment where I don't have any bugs! BOASTING!  Little did I know that there is something far, far worse.  There is a gecko in this house . . . I'm scared of geckos!
