Here is another one of my previous sketches. At this point I am practicing with charcoal pencils because I have great difficulty getting the really thin, soft vine charcoal that I like. I think that I and the charcoal pencils will get along just fine.
A new neighbor stopped by yesterday and looked at some of my sketches. 'Oh!' 'In the manner of Degas!' she said. (exclamation points mine). I was going to ask her to leave - but when she said that - I prepared her some whitefish lightly breaded and pan fried in a little olive oil to a golden brown, fluffy rice and a garden salad.
'Now, tell me more about me!' I said . . .
