'the universe is growing AND expanding' by myra anderson...

This past week I worked on my various art themes.  There is my 'woman with an umbrella' theme, my 'elegant dog walker' theme and a new one I will tell you about next time. And oh yes of course...there is my constant battle with the mister...Degas...as I worked on my 'ballerina' theme.
'tho it may make you cry...an onion is still a-peel-ing. But we don't cry...we try!'
say what? by myra anderson
This week I 'boldly' decided to try something new...painting a flower.  Painting pansies. But then I pondered...is it really new when the pansy looks rather like a ballerina's tutu? And then I laughed and ate some cake...I mean...a salad.
Here is a brief glimmer of my 'elegant dog walker' series.
Here is the artist Paul Wright in his studio. His beautiful body of work contains many wonderful colors and textures.
I was already playing around with more color and texture...and his beautiful work makes me want to do so even more!
Ahhh...sometimes learning how to become an artist is like an onion? a flower? both?

I love that welcoming round of your flower painting and your ballerina theme always offers something special. What a magnificent painter Paul is I can see why you would be inspired by his work.
Happy PPF Tracey.

I was quite taken with your elegant dog walker. There's something very special about it--fills my eyes it does.
