'a patch of yellow' by myra anderson painter of the fashion sketch . . .


Dear Lisa;
I know.  You're thinking that everything about the last post suggests that indeed I have been hitting the 'sauce' too hard.  But I did finally sit down and get to work on this painting.  It is actually 99 percent done - so I am almost sticking to the plan!

I call this painting 'a patch of yellow' because it reminds me of those days when you enjoy the snowy days of winter - but you are so happy when the sun peeks thru the clouds and finally comes out!  I wish you peace and the warmth of the sun...

you painted it perfect, how did you manage to get it to look like silk, what is the secret.
