ballerina for bonnie - a new and complex charcoal chair sketch by myra anderson
If you fancy yourself an 'artist of the ballet' you must, yes you must draw a ballerina tying her shoe. It's one of the rules of the 'I fancy myself as an artist of the ballet' club.
So every once in a while you have to draw a ballerina tying her shoe - to make sure that you still can - and in order to keep your precious membership in the club.
All kidding aside - I also wanted to experiment with 'the toe shoe' as an abstract . . . or pop art . . . or poster art . . . or something . . .

I had a big grin on my face as I was reading, ... fancy myself as an artist, etc... FUN!
The drawing is really strong with a lot of impact. I really do admire your ability to draw so well.
The fun and sparkly pink color makes the shoes pop.
