'a tale of two...I mean three cities' by myra anderson...

Well yes...there are two sides of my artwork...the fashion side and the ballerina side.  No...wait a minute...I stand corrected. As I think about it...there are three sides of my artwork...there is also the figurative side!

"If at first you don't succeed...practice, practice, practice!"
This week I had more success on my ballerina side.  Next week I will definitely work to conquer the fashion side. I have a great fashion idea longing for a good execution lol!
There is a virtual 'encyclopedia' of  great artists of the ballet past and present.  Degas (above) is of course one of the most acknowledged.  Even his most simplest of illustrations is expressive and beautiful! (More encyclopedia to come!) Question! Can you portray movement in a drawing?
This is a painting by artist Mahnoor Shah. What a beautiful delight of expression, color and movement with paint!

You really have captured their posture in the first piece, fabulous studies. You can indeed express movement in a drawing.. Happy PPF Tracey
