'a touch of red - a ballerina painting' by myra anderson painter of the ballerina sketch . . .

my dearest barbara;
Surely you knew that it would only be a matter of time before I would paint the ballet again.  I like this painting because it reminds me of the weeks and months I spent training to be a prima ballerina.  Ahhh babara...those were great days.  Unfortunately there was a pub across the street that offered some of  the best food ever.  So, for selfish reasons I left behind my dreams of becoming a prima ballerina.  I was twenty four when I began to take classes - and easily weighed 150 pounds.  Hey!  Stop laughing.  It coulda happened!

With love for all of yall,
Myra

I like your perspective. The feet and legs are so important in dancing, aren't they?
