'a patch of yellow' by myra anderson painter of the fashion sketch . . .

Dear Lisa;
I know.  You're thinking that everything about the last post suggests that indeed I have been hitting the 'sauce' too hard.  But I did finally sit down and get to work on this painting.  It is actually 99 percent done - so I am almost sticking to the plan!

I call this painting 'a patch of yellow' because it reminds me of those days when you enjoy the snowy days of winter - but you are so happy when the sun peeks thru the clouds and finally comes out!  I wish you peace and the warmth of the sun...

with love for all of yall,
Myra

this just made me want to reach out and touch it, looks like silk,
you painted it perfect, how did you manage to get it to look like silk, what is the secret.
