'the dancer' by myra anderson . . .


Again, moving back into the painting arena I thought that I would show you how fantastic I look in a tutu.  It was 1923 and I would wear a beautiful tutu to work everyday.  The foreman at the plant where I worked asked me why I always wore a tutu.  'Because as a dancer I live and breathe the art of the dance!' I said.  'Riveting. . .' he said.  'Get back to riveting!'   Yes.  I was a riveter.  I made rivets . . .
